I Haven't Forgotten

Hi All,

Just a short note to let you know that i haven't forgotten about updating this blog... I am very comitted to it! I was hoping to be able to update you with lots of photo's however my camera fell in love with the snow and jumped out of my pocket to lay with it for awhile. I soon noticed that it was missing....just a little too late :(

We went down into Kelowna yesterday for our weekly fast food fix and to do some grocery shopping which was followed by the scariest ride of my life!!! We had to catch a taxi up the mountain (about an hour drive) It started snowing very very heavily,(about 30cm of snow fell within 45min)We were lucky to see maybe 2m infront of the car. The taxi drivers boss had called him and advised him not to drive up to the mountain due to the extreme weather conditions however he seemed convinced that it wouldnt be a problem. I wasnt convinced when he was driving at 30km per hour muttering under his breath that he couldnt see the road and missed a head on with a truck by about 10cm, however we all made it home safe and sound!

Anyway the mountain finally opened today which was exciting, Marks suffering from the flu so we decided not to go out today but went into the village instead to collect our lift passes. But we will definatly be out boarding tomorrow!!!! its meant to be -35 on tuesday and im very very scared as today it was -12 and that was almost unbearable.

Hello Again

Hi All,

Nothing really new to report except that we are pretty bored. The mountain doesn't actually open until the 23rd of November, untill then nothing is operating! So i have decided to keep myself occupied by posting meaningless blogs untill i have something more exciting to report.

Canada

Hi all,
We made it to Canada! after a very intense week and 20 hours of travelling we are finally here! its -4 degrees outside so i have stayed in alllll day.
Thanks to everyone who was at our wedding and helped make it such a special day. i will be posting photos shortly. (once i figure out how)
